Description:
A reputed steel stockist and distribution company is hiring a Store Keeper with prior experience in the structural steel / steel industry to manage inventory and support day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and issue steel materials as per requirements
Maintain accurate records of stock movement and inventory levels
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of steel sections and materials
Coordinate with production, procurement, and site teams for material availability
Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Store Keeper in the steel or structural steel industry
Strong knowledge of steel materials, sections, and inventory handling
Experience in stock receiving, issuing, and documentation
Basic computer skills with exposure to inventory or ERP systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
